Each scan is from an Original Kodachrome Slide in high resolution TIFF file format....Makes incredible 8x10 prints!

Scans have not been modified in any way. They are just as they came from the scanner without modifications. This way you can adjust them in any way, shape or form to fit your needs. Some may need the sharpness adjusted, some may need the colors tweaked a tad, some may need to be brightened up a bit, and some will not need any adjustments. Not to fear only minor adjustments will be needed which any good Image Management System such as CompuPic can handle the job!

Each scan contains all the relevant PCC information..Car number, date and location..Dates range from 1949 to 1993..Locations vary..Castle Shannon, Mt. Lebanon, Dormont, Beechview, Bethel Park, Library, North Side, South Side, Mt. Oliver, Carrick, Wilkinsburg, West View, Washington, Homestead and more

1702 was the only car to receive the Light Blue/White/Light Blue paint scheme from 1974 to 1976 and then was repainted to the Orange/White/Orange paint scheme

Word on the street is that 77/54 was nicknamed the "Flying Fraction" by KDKA-AM radio personality Rege Cordic.
Starting in Brentwood, the streetcar passed through Carrick and the South Side, crossed the South Twenty-Second Street Bridge {Brady Street Bridge} and traveled to Oakland, Bloomfield and the Strip District before reaching the end of the route on the North Side of Pittsburgh
